VR010 & VR020 · Community founder
Not everything starts with a business case.
Alongside VR Heroes and Warp VR, I founded VR010 and VR020. The aim was not a commercial project: it was to bring people together around something we were excited about.
Bring experts and curious minds together
We organised events where professionals and people interested in virtual reality could share the projects they were working on and what they had learned. Speakers contributed their knowledge voluntarily.
Create room for a community
We organised around 40 events, with approximately 200 visitors per event on average, across Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
Contribute beyond the company
The communities gave me a way to invest in the wider field, not only my own businesses. They helped people meet, learn from one another and explore what the technology could become.
The takeaway
Around 40 events · Around 200 visitors per event
